On a perfectly innocent trip to Lac La Hache to visit friends, we were captivated by the beauty of the Cariboo landscape, and this house in particular. The home that would become Meadowlark House reminded us of our cycling trip to Provence, and seduced our imaginations. After having cooked, hosted, and led numerous friends on guided adventures, we decided to launch something fun to share this fabulous part of the world. Our B&B is our “little Provence in the Cariboo.” We are now able to combine our love of local foods & BC wines with our experience in organizing personal retreats and corporate events.
We are captivated by the spectacular views of the lake and mountains, by both the serenity and grandeur of peace the surroundings offer, and by the eclectic ambiance of our home. This romantic B&B inspires creativity, relaxation, and an abounding appreciation of nature that we cannot wait to share.

How to get here:
Enjoy the easy scenic 5½ hour drive north-east from Vancouver via Whistler or Hope, 3½ hour drive south from Prince George or charter a flight to 108 Airport, only 5 minutes away. Also flights are available from Vancouver to Williams Lake or Kamloops regional airport.

Booking and Cancellation Policy
Your booking at the B&B requires a 50% deposit ($40 of which is non-refundable) with the balance due 30 days prior to your arrival - at which point, as per our 30 day cancellation policy, the total becomes non-refundable.
